International & Scientific Cooperation Office (ISCO) reports:
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for mutual scientific cooperation was signed between Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and Hungary’s Ministry of Human Capacities (MHC).
On the sidelines of the first joint meeting of mutual scientific cooperation between Iran & Hungary held at Yazd University on October 14th, 2017, MSRT’s acting minister for international scientific cooperation, Prof. Hossein Salar Amoli, and Prof. László Palkovics, MHC’s state secretary for education signed a MOA for cooperation on higher education, research and technology.
According to this MOA, the two parties have identified Energy, Water Management and Health Research as priority areas, and expressed their intention and willingness to cooperate in these fields.
It is noteworthy that Yazd University has been previously appointed by MSRT as the coordinator of the national committee of scientific cooperation between Iran and Hungary.
