Janos Kovacs and YU’s officials attended a meeting (dated 15.10.2016) to investigate potential opportunities of enhancing scientific relations between Yazd University and Hungarian Institutes.
Pointing to the history of relations between Iran and Hungary, Kovacs said Iranian students are always among the top students in Hungarian universities.
He informed of 100 scholarships granted annually to Iranian students.
Stressing on the role of his university as the focal point of scientific relations with Hungarian institutes, Dr. Owlia explained about top fields of study at Yazd University and informed of scholarships assigned to Hungarian students who are willing to study at YU.
Furthermore, YU’s president suggested establishment of common Ph.D. courses and new fields of study to be prioritized in prospective programs.
Also, Dr. Dehghan Marvasti, bilateral activator between Iran and Hungary; Dr. Nejadkoorki, Director of International & Scientific Cooperation Office; Dr. Loghmani, Vice President for Educational Affairs; and Dr. Farshi, Director of international students attended this meeting.
